Andra Olaru is a Romanian fashion designer, co-owner and creative director of ALMAZ.

While studying law, she started skipping classes in order to attend design and art history courses and also taking on various small jobs in the fashion field. 

​

She continued her education studying Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni in Milano, during a 3 year course, and managing to finish in the top 20 of her year, taking part in the Marangoni Fashion Show.

After living many years in Milano, she finally decided to return to Romania and start her own ready-to-wear label, which is now sold several countries around the world, including Austria, Israel, Hong Kong, South Korea and United States.
